It is not often enough that my interests in history and health coincide. I fairly recently led a walk for the Health Innovation Network to visit the statues of Alfred and Ada Salter in Bermondsey. This prompted me to write a short blog for Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust about the Salters and the pioneering work that they did. As we are focussing more on neighbourhood care in the NHS there are lessons that we can learn about top down and bottom up approaches to integrating neighbourhood services. The blog can be accessed here. If you cannot access on NHS site then here is a PDF.
