A short BMJ rapid response, subsequently published in a shortened version as a letter by the British Medical Journal (BMJ), by Katie Urch and myself - we need to stop talking about COVID-safe and secure. It should be COVID-mitigated!

This letter was selected as 'Letter of the Week' and published in the print edition (lightly edited) as Urch CE & George AJT. "Covid-mitigated" is less misleading than safe or secure. BMJ (2020): 370, 406.
